Introduction
For thirty years since my late teens, I have been creating three-dimensional forms with metal.
I believe I have been searching within metal for invisible aspects of life—such as sprouting, cycles, and subtle presences.
Then in 2023,
I began exploring how to express things that do not take physical form—like air or breath—through the small formats of woodblock printing and jewelry.
Capturing the fragility and stillness that drift across a flat surface,
gently scooping up those faint traces of presence.
Now in my fifties,
I have decided to weave this path into a ten-year story.
This is the first chapter of that journey.

Though we cannot hear them,
plants sing their own quiet songs.
Songs that mark the seasons,
that draw life near,
that gently resonate as they live together in harmony.
Through woodblock prints and jewelry,
I have given shape to these hidden melodies.

Sensing the light,
reading the wind,
plants converse without a sound.
Their invisible exchanges resemble a quiet song.
With woodblock prints and jewelry,
I have softly gathered their resonance.
I hope you’ll pause and listen
to the rhythm nature quietly plays.
