After learning the basic techniques of crafts at university,
I enrolled in a blacksmithing course in Sweden.
Gradually, my work shifted naturally toward a more sculptural direction.
Just before my graduation project, during the stage of experimental creation, I came across the following text while reflecting and writing about my process.
Though the English was clumsy, I managed to shape it with the help of a British friend. That text became what I later titled “Method.”
METHOD
For my last project, I simply followed my feelings, working only in metal, without doing any research.
I noticed that my forms looked like plants, seeds, or even body parts—details of natural shapes that seem deeply rooted in my mind.
But maybe those forms are too obvious.Maybe they need to be more abstract—I’m not sure yet.
Some parts of the forms feel very close to my emotions, but as a whole, they still don’t feel fully resolved.
With this project, I want to explore the forms more through sketching.
I plan to make at least one piece in metal.
But after sketching, I may realize that I can express myself betterthrough a series of smaller objects.

Living in a foreign land for the first time was filled with both inspiration and solitude.
Gradually, I found ways to express the emotions and thoughts I couldn’t fully convey with words—through form.
Through my work, I hope for a resonance of sensibilities beyond language.
That was the beginning of my creative journey.
